An "E" day
This past week has been insanely busy. Jake injured his back, partially tearing a disc so he had spent a lot of time in bed resting and physical therapy. In addition I had not one, but two MOPS meetings, voting, my annual dr appt, Grant swim lessons, etc. I was always rushing the boys somewhere and I hated it. It went against everything Ethan taught me about slowing down and being present. I planned at the beginning of the week to spend Friday fully present with the boys doing something fun! I walked into the kitchen that morning to find Grant with a bowl and pint of ice cream. A great start to our "E day"- extraordinary day. I love how E shows up. After ice cream for breakfast, we went to the Florida Gator homecoming parade with our friends Kathie and Lex. It was so fun! We were right outside the stadium. The kids loved the band and fire trucks...and playing in the dirt. It was a perfect, soul filling day!
